Day 1: Arrival at Somnath – Visit to Somnath Jyotirlinga Temple
After reaching Ahmedabad/Rajkot, proceed towards Somnath, a revered pilgrimage destination and one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. After hotel check-in and freshening up, visit the magnificent Somnath Temple, beautifully located by the Arabian Sea. Attend the evening aarti, and if time permits, enjoy the Sound and Light Show in the temple complex that narrates the historical and mythological importance of the site. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Somnath to Dwarka – Enroute Porbandar Visit
After breakfast, check out and drive to Dwarka, one of the most sacred Char Dham pilgrimage sites. Enroute, stop at Porbandar, the birthplace of Mahatma Gandhi. Visit Kirti Mandir and Sudama Temple, dedicated to Krishna’s close companion. On reaching Dwarka, check in to your hotel and later visit the Dwarkadhish Temple in the evening for aarti. Experience the divine atmosphere of this ancient city. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3: Dwarka Sightseeing – Nageshwar, Bet Dwarka & Gopi Talav
Post breakfast, explore the holy sites around Dwarka. Start with Nageshwar Jyotirlinga, one of the 12 sacred Jyotirlingas. Then visit Bet Dwarka, the legendary home of Lord Krishna, accessible via a scenic boat ride. On the return journey, visit Rukmini Devi Temple and Gopi Talav, associated with tales from Krishna’s life. Return to the hotel by evening. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 4: Dwarka to Diu – Coastal Relaxation & Portuguese Heritage
After breakfast, check out and proceed to Diu, a peaceful coastal town known for its beaches, history, and colonial architecture. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and later visit key attractions like Diu Fort, Naida Caves, and St. Paul’s Church. Relax at Nagoa Beach in the evening, where you can enjoy water sports (optional) or a beautiful sunset. Dinner and overnight stay in Diu.
Day 5: Diu to Sasan Gir – Jungle Safari (Evening Safari Optional)
After breakfast, head to Sasan Gir, the only home of the Asiatic Lions in the world. Upon arrival, check in to your jungle resort/hotel. If time permits and safari slots are available, you may opt for an evening jungle safari (optional – pre-booking recommended). Learn about the wildlife, flora, and tribal life around Gir National Park. Dinner and overnight stay near the Gir forest.
Day 6: Morning Safari (Optional) – Return to Delhi via Ahmedabad/Rajkot
Early risers can enjoy an optional morning jungle safari in Gir National Park (on direct payment and subject to availability). After breakfast, check out and proceed to Ahmedabad or Rajkot. From there, board your AC bus back to Delhi, bringing your memorable Somnath – Dwarka – Diu – Sasan Gir journey to a fulfilling end.
