Day 1: Arrival in Guwahati – Visit to Kamakhya Temple

Upon reaching Guwahati, you will be welcomed by our local representative and transferred to your hotel. After freshening up, visit the sacred Kamakhya Temple, one of the Shakti Peethas and a major spiritual site in Assam. In the evening, enjoy a serene Brahmaputra River cruise (optional) and soak in the sunset views. Dinner and overnight stay in Guwahati.

Day 2: Guwahati to Shillong – Umiam Lake & Local Markets

After breakfast, check out and proceed to Shillong, the capital of Meghalaya, often called the “Scotland of the East.” En route, stop at the picturesque Umiam Lake, a perfect spot for photography and boating. Upon arrival in Shillong, check into your hotel and spend your evening exploring Police Bazaar and local cafes. Dinner and overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 3: Shillong to Cherrapunji – Waterfalls & Living Root Bridge

After breakfast, proceed to Cherrapunji, known for being one of the wettest places on Earth. Visit breathtaking spots like Nohkalikai Falls, Seven Sisters Falls, Eco Park, and the mystical Mawsmai Caves. For adventure lovers, a short trek to the Single Decker Living Root Bridge in Nongriat can be arranged (optional). Return to Shillong in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Shillong to Dawki – Mawlynnong Village & River Boating

After breakfast, take a full-day excursion to Dawki, near the India-Bangladesh border. Enjoy a crystal-clear boat ride on the Umngot River. Then visit Mawlynnong, declared the “cleanest village in Asia,” and walk on the sky view tower overlooking Bangladesh plains. Return to Shillong by evening. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Shillong to Kaziranga National Park (Assam)

After breakfast, check out and head toward Kaziranga National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to the one-horned rhinoceros. The journey takes you through scenic Assamese countryside. On arrival, check into a jungle resort. Enjoy the evening at leisure or explore local tribal culture. Dinner and overnight stay in Kaziranga.

Day 6: Kaziranga Jungle Safari – Transfer to Dirang (Arunachal Pradesh)

Early morning, enjoy an adventurous jeep or elephant safari in the central range of Kaziranga National Park, spotting rhinos, deer, wild buffalo, and exotic birds. After breakfast, check out and proceed to Dirang, a serene hill town in Arunachal Pradesh. On arrival, check into the hotel and relax. Dinner and overnight stay in Dirang.

Day 7: Dirang to Tawang – Scenic Himalayan Drive

After breakfast, proceed to Tawang, one of the most breathtaking regions of Arunachal Pradesh. On the way, visit Sela Pass (13,700 ft), Jaswant Garh War Memorial, and Nuranang Waterfalls. Arrive in Tawang by evening and check into your hotel. Dinner and overnight stay in Tawang.

Day 8: Tawang Sightseeing – Monastery, Lakes & Culture

After breakfast, explore the famous Tawang Monastery, the largest in India and second-largest in Asia. Visit the beautiful Pangateng Tso (PT Tso) Lake, Giant Buddha Statue, and local markets. Learn about the Indo-China war at the Tawang War Memorial. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 9: Departure – Return to Delhi (Via Guwahati by AC Bus)

After an early breakfast, check out and begin your journey back to Guwahati. From there, board your AC bus for Delhi, carrying back a heart full of memories from the scenic, spiritual, and soulful lands of Northeast India.
