Day 1: Arrival at Darjeeling – Welcome to the Queen of Hills
Upon arrival in Siliguri or Kolkata, you’ll be picked up and transferred to the beautiful hill town of Darjeeling, located in the lap of the Eastern Himalayas. The drive is scenic with cool mountain air and lush green tea gardens. After reaching Darjeeling, check into your hotel and relax. In the evening, enjoy a walk along Mall Road, explore local markets, and take in the peaceful vibe. Dinner and overnight stay at your hotel in Darjeeling.
Day 2: Darjeeling Sightseeing – Tiger Hill Sunrise & Local Attractions
Start your day early with a trip to Tiger Hill to catch the sunrise over Mount Kanchenjunga — a breathtaking sight. On the way back, visit Ghoom Monastery and the iconic Batasia Loop. After breakfast, continue your sightseeing with visits to the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park, Peace Pagoda, Tenzing Rock, and Happy Valley Tea Garden. You may also enjoy a toy train ride (optional). Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Darjeeling to Gangtok – Capital of Sikkim
After breakfast, check out and depart for Gangtok, the capital city of Sikkim. The drive offers scenic views of rivers, forests, and distant peaks. On arrival in Gangtok, check into your hotel. In the evening, visit MG Marg, the heart of the city, for shopping, street food, and local vibes. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Gangtok.
Day 4: Gangtok Local Sightseeing – Monasteries, Viewpoints & Waterfalls
After breakfast, enjoy a full-day sightseeing tour of Gangtok. Visit the serene Tashi View Point, Ganesh Tok, and Hanuman Tok for panoramic views of the surrounding hills. Continue to Bakthang Waterfall, Flower Exhibition Center, and the peaceful Enchey Monastery. Also visit the famous Banjhakri Falls and Namgyal Institute of Tibetology to understand the rich Tibetan culture. Return to the hotel in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5: Departure – Return to Delhi (Via Siliguri/Kolkata by AC Bus)
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and travel back to Siliguri/Kolkata, depending on your route. Board your AC bus for the return journey to Delhi, bringing your scenic and spiritual Darjeeling & Gangtok tour to a delightful end with memories of mountains, monasteries, and peaceful towns.
