Day 1: Arrival at Darjeeling – Leisure and Mall Road Walk
Upon arrival in Kolkata or Siliguri, you’ll be transferred by a private/shared vehicle to Darjeeling, a scenic hill station in West Bengal known for its tea gardens and colonial charm. The drive up to Darjeeling is full of winding roads, misty hills, and breathtaking views. Upon reaching, check in to your hotel and relax. In the evening, enjoy a peaceful walk along Mall Road, explore local shops, and soak in the cool mountain air. Dinner and overnight stay in Darjeeling.
Day 2: Tiger Hill Sunrise – Full Day Darjeeling Sightseeing
Start early before sunrise with an excursion to Tiger Hill to witness the majestic sunrise over Kanchenjunga, the world’s third-highest mountain. On the way back, visit the Ghoom Monastery and the Batasia Loop, a fascinating spiral railway track with a war memorial. After breakfast at the hotel, begin your local sightseeing: visit the Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Tenzing Rock, Peace Pagoda, and explore a traditional tea garden. End the day with dinner and overnight stay in Darjeeling.
Day 3: Darjeeling Joy Ride – Ropeway & Leisure Time
After breakfast, enjoy the famous Darjeeling Toy Train Ride (Joy Ride), a UNESCO World Heritage experience. It gives you a glimpse of the colonial-era railway charm as it passes through scenic landscapes. Later, you can enjoy the Darjeeling Ropeway (cable car ride) for panoramic views of the valley and tea gardens. The afternoon is free for leisure—shop at local markets for Darjeeling tea, handicrafts, and souvenirs. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 4: Departure – Return to Delhi (Via Siliguri/Kolkata AC Bus)
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and proceed to Siliguri or Kolkata for your return journey by AC bus back to Delhi, bringing your memorable Darjeeling tour to a refreshing and scenic end.
