Day 1: Arrival in Ahmedabad – Heritage & City Sightseeing
Upon arrival in Ahmedabad, you will be received by our tour representative and transferred to the hotel for check-in and freshening up. Begin your city tour with a visit to the beautiful Sabarmati Ashram, the home of Mahatma Gandhi during India’s freedom movement. Then explore Adalaj Stepwell, an intricately carved structure showcasing Indo-Islamic architecture. Later, visit the Sidi Saiyyed Mosque, famous for its stunning jali work, and enjoy a leisurely walk along the Sabarmati Riverfront. Dinner and overnight stay in Ahmedabad.
Day 2: Ahmedabad to Vadodara – Local Sightseeing
After breakfast, check out and drive to Vadodara (Baroda), known for its royal history and architecture. On the way, stop at Lothal (optional), an important site from the Indus Valley Civilization. On reaching Vadodara, check into the hotel and later visit the majestic Lakshmi Vilas Palace, one of the grandest royal residences in India. Also visit the Maharaja Fateh Singh Museum, showcasing royal artifacts and European artworks. In the evening, you can explore Sayaji Garden or relax in the city. Dinner and overnight stay in Vadodara.
Day 3: Statue of Unity Day Excursion – World’s Tallest Statue
After early breakfast, proceed for a full-day trip to the Statue of Unity, located in Kevadia, around 90 km from Vadodara. Dedicated to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, this iconic monument is the world’s tallest statue at 182 meters. Visit the Statue Viewing Gallery, Sardar Sarovar Dam, Valley of Flowers, Unity Glow Garden, and Jungle Safari (optional). Experience the laser Light and Sound Show in the evening (subject to schedule). Return to Vadodara by night for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Departure – Return to Delhi (Via AC Bus)
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and proceed to Ahmedabad or Vadodara bus terminal. From here, board your AC bus back to Delhi, bringing your enriching and educational Ahmedabad – Vadodara – Statue of Unity tour to a memorable close.
