Day 1: Arrival at Coorg – Check-in & Abbey Falls Visit
After reaching Bengaluru or Mysuru, you will be transferred to Coorg by private/shared vehicle. Upon arrival in Coorg (also known as Kodagu), check into your hotel or resort and take some rest. In the afternoon, head to Abbey Falls, a stunning waterfall located amidst coffee plantations and thick greenery. Enjoy the scenic beauty and the soothing sound of cascading water. Return to the hotel in the evening, enjoy dinner, and stay overnight in Coorg.
Day 2: Coorg Sightseeing – Raja’s Seat, Madikeri Fort & Omkareshwara Temple
After breakfast, proceed for a full day of local sightseeing in and around Madikeri, the heart of Coorg. Visit Raja’s Seat, a beautiful viewpoint offering panoramic views of the valley, especially enchanting at sunrise or sunset. Next, explore the historic Madikeri Fort and the nearby Omkareshwara Temple, known for its unique Islamic and Gothic architecture. Spend your evening exploring the local market and coffee shops. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Dubare Elephant Camp – Golden Temple (Namdroling Monastery)
After an early breakfast, visit Dubare Elephant Camp, a unique experience where you can interact with elephants, feed them, and watch them bathe. Later, proceed to Bylakuppe, home to the Golden Temple (Namdroling Monastery) – one of the largest Tibetan settlements in India. Marvel at the peaceful ambiance and impressive Buddhist architecture. Return to the hotel in the evening, enjoy your farewell dinner, and relax for the night.
Day 4: Departure from Coorg – Return to Delhi (Via Connecting City)
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and begin the return journey to Bengaluru or Mysuru. From there, board your AC bus back to Delhi, marking the end of a refreshing and culturally rich Coorg tour. Cherish the beautiful memories of the lush green landscapes, waterfalls, and peaceful monasteries as you travel back home.
