Located in the heart of the Kashmir Valley, which is called ‘Paradise on Earth’, Srinagar’s landscape is interspersed with greenery, lakes and hillocks. The city is spread out along the banks of the Jhelum River and is famous for its surrounding natural beauty and postcard tourist spots. The two parts of the city are connected by nine bridges. The Hari Parbat and the Shankar Acharya hills lie on either side of the city.
On arrival at Jammu railway station/Airport, meet and greet our represantative and transfer to Katra. where the holy shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi is located. Check In hotel and later explore the Katra Market by your own. Overnight stay in Hotel at Katra.
After breakfast proceed for Darshan of Mata Vaishno devi, (by your own), after Darshan return back, & overnight stay in Hotel at Katra.
After breakfast leave for Srinagar , and transfer you to Deluxe Houseboat. Afternoon free for personal activities. Overnight at Houseboat.
After Breakfast , visit mughal Gardens visiting Nishat Bagh (abode of pleasure) built by Asif Khan brother in law of Jehangir in 1632 AD. And Shalimar Bagh (Abode of Love) built by Jehangir for his wife Empress Noor Jehan. All the Gardens are situated on the bank of Dal lake with the Zabarwan Moutains Garden. Royal Springm Pari Mahal. Enroute visit Carpet Weaving factory. After noon visit old city of Srinagar and enjoy gondola ride upto Akbar Fort. Dinner in yours booked hotel/houseboats.
After Breakfast ,drive for Gulmarg ,its popular for its golf course (in summer), the highest in the world and skiing during the winter season. Enjoy the splendor of nature and the snowy mountains. One can have Gondola ride (cable car) from Gulmarg to Khalinmarg. In the evening return to Hotel. Overnight at Hotel.
After breakfast leave for Sonamarg for a Day trip On the way we stop at many beautiful spots for sightseeing and photography. in Sonamarg you can visit Thajwas Glacier which is around 4Kms from Sonamarg a Local Taxi Or Pony Ride has to be hired (on your own Expenses) return back to Srinagar in the evening . overnight stay in Hotel/Houseboat at Srinagar.
